“In early 2018 Idemitsu awarded a contract to Affinity Offshore for the detailed design of the 80 man Sao Vang Living Quarters offshore Vietnam. Utilizing the basic architectural layout Affinity Offshore, with due recognition of functionality, ergonomics and the relaxation of personnel developed, for each room and common area, the detailed layouts through to furniture specification, material selection, colour boards and intricate working details to ensure a smooth installation and fit out. Rooms that received special attention included the galley, the dining room, recreation room, infirmary, heli-lounge, gym and changing rooms, plus of course the cabins which were designed for single and two person occupancy. Although complex, the fit out was completed using local labour and ‘hands on’ Affinity offshore personnel to achieve a very high standard of finish, with exceptional quality. The completed LQ is now offshore functioning flawlessly and has really impressed the Operations personnel.”

As well as fulfilling the contract scope of EPC & delivery for the 6 modules Affinity also assisted greatly with the proposals for preparation, lifting, installation, hook up and commissioning on board the platform.
